PUBLIC COMPLAINTS

Every complaint will be investigated and action will be taken within 14 days if :-

  • Name and address of the complainant is clearly stated
  • Type of complaint is clearly stated
  • Problem areas are clearly stated

Receipt of complaint : 3 working days

Complaint Investigation : 7 working days

Complaint
Feedback : 4 working days

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

  • To update information in the MDL website at least once a week
  • To display current updates for 1 week from the date of display
  • To provide feedback via email to client within 3 working days

ENFORCEMENT

  • To investigate all complaints and to take action within 3 working days
  • To ensure legal action undertaken is fair, firm and effective

EQUIPMENT RENTAL

  • To reply to equipment rental applications within 7 working days from the date application is received
  • To ensure the equipments are provided 1 day prior tobefore the date of usage provided
    full payment has been made.

PREMISE RENTAL

  • To ensure all vacant stalls are advertised within 1 month
  • To ensure stall rental letter of offer is issued 2 weeks from the date of the interview
  • To inform the unsuccessful interviewees via mail correspondence
    within 1 month after the date of interview

TOURISM

  • To escort the tourists to 14 historical buildings within 4 hours

ANIMAL PARK

  • To issue admission tickets to the visitors within 1 minute
  • To ensure the animals are sufficiently fed and health monitoring are performed on a daily basis

VALUATION DEPARTMENT

We are committed to provide the best services to you :-

ASSESSMENT TAX

  • To appraise assessment tax within at period of 5 months in a fair and reasonable manner
  • To deliver the assessment tax bill to the property owner by 21 January (for the first half of the year) and 21 July (for the second half of the year)
  • To provide feedback on applications within 14 days
  • To handle objection processes within 3 months
  • To process the transfer of property ownership within 1 day provided the documents are complete and without
    any tax arrears
